Women and Power Leadership Training

WOMEN AND POWER LEADERSHIP TRAINING

The Women and Power Leadership Certificate is an advanced program for alumni of the Regina V. Polk Women’s Labor Leadership Conference.  The purpose of this 7-month program (October through April) is to help Polk alumni identify leadership goals.

We are pleased to announce this 7-month program will be held as a hybrid program for 2021-22.

3 In-person Saturday classes, 9am-1pm in Chicago at the LEP classroom, 815 W Van Buren #110:

18 Virtual class via Zoom:

  • October 25
  • November 8, 13, 22
  • December 6, 18, 20
  • January 10, 15,  24
  • February 7 & 21
  • March 5,  7, 21
  • April 4 & 11

Monday classes meet 7pm-9pm CST & Saturday classes meet 9am-1pm CST. 
Participants are expected to attend all of the classes. 

The cohort will work collaboratively learning new skills, sharing ideas and experiences, and building a sustainable bond that will offer both practical and emotional support as they transition into the next phase of leadership within the union, organization, and/or community.
